June 8, 2022

Caesars casinos will pour $200 million to renovate its venue in Atlantic City, NJ as announced on Tuesday. The funding will cover the casino floor, lobby, valet area, and outdoor pool at the Qua Baths & Spa’s rooftop and cabanas. The project will start later this year.

The casino parent company Caesars Entertainment said the renovation project is a part of a $400 million investment for three of its venues. The rest of the fund will be used to improve the property of Harrah’s Resort and the Tropicana Atlantic City. The investment in Atlantic City’s casino alone is half of the budget which will be completed by late 2023.

“This major investment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to elevating guests’ experiences at our resorts as well as advancing the Atlantic City tourism economy,” said John Koster, Caesars’ regional president of Eastern Division.

The renovation of the first-floor lobby will feature a new Starbucks outlet available with mobile ordering. The design will be sleek and contemporary, minimal, bright, and fresh.

Caesars Atlantic City is “an iconic destination on the Atlantic City Boardwalk and critical to the market’s success over the years,” said Joe Lodise, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Caesars Atlantic City.

“The resort transformation at Caesars Atlantic City will further the property’s evolution as one of the country’s leading travel destinations here on the East Coast – bringing the best of Las Vegas right here to the center of the action in Atlantic City,” Lodise said.
