Circa Sports releases new details on first Northern Nevada sportsbook at Legends Bay Casino

July 23, 2022

Circa Sports, a Las Vegas-based sports betting brand, unveiled additional details on Wednesday for its first northern Nevada sportsbook, which will open this summer at Olympia Gaming's new Legends Bay Casino in Sparks. The gaming establishments' debut date will be announced in the coming weeks.

"Circa Sports will bring an ultramodern and technology-forward sportsbook to the city, as well as a leadership team consisting of the industry's top oddsmakers and a menu featuring some of the best odds in the country," the company said in a press release.

There will also be Circa Million IV and Circa Survivor, two pro football betting contests run by Circa Sports upon the opening, which promise a record-breaking $12 million guaranteed prize pool with no rake.

"Our team searched for a long time to find a great location for our first northern Nevada outpost, and we have found the perfect fit with Legends Bay," said Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Sports.

"The Circa Sports team is honored to be a part of Legends Bay and the exciting new concepts it is bringing to the area. We're proud to become a part of the community and eager to introduce our brand of hospitality to the market."

There are now five sites in Southern Nevada where bettors can place their wagers, including the brand's flagship facility at the Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, which houses the world's largest sportsbook, as well as mobile betting options in Colorado and Iowa with Waukegan, Illinois, following soon.

"We are so proud to partner with Derek Stevens and the entire Circa Sports team to bring a sports betting experience that will be unlike any other in town," Garry Goett, CEO of Olympia Companies, remarked.

Circa Sports facilities

The Circa Sports at Legends Bay will feature a 10-by-15-foot Daktronics video board with live odds and six games for the day. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The largest sporting events, including the entire Sunday football schedule, will always be broadcasted.

With a seating capacity of approximately 140, the venue will feature numerous 60-inch TVs and several seating options, including 18 stadium-style seats in the sportsbook's front rows. Six banquette booths can accommodate up to 24 people, ten high-top tables that can accommodate two people each plus two ADA-type tables, and extra seating behind the high-top tables with video poker machines and views of the sportsbooks front row.

For the comfort of guests, each seat will feature USB and power outlets. Guests can order a choice of gameday appetizers or beverages during their visit. Moreover, bettors can place bets, register for the sports betting app, make deposits/withdrawals, and more.

Contest' prizes

Circa Million IV and Circa Survivor will accept entries at Legends Bay until September 10, either in person or via proxy, starting on the first day of the opening.

$6 million guaranteed prizes, including a $1 million first-place prize, will be awarded in this year's Circa Million IV contest. The contest has no rake, and any additional payments are put into the prize pools for the quarter and full season.

In addition, there will be a $6 million prize for the final contestant in Circa Survivor. A $1 million additional prize will be awarded to any entry that wins the tournament with a perfect record of 20-0. Entrants who choose one of the teams that competed in the Big Game in 2022 are not eligible for this bonus prize.
